in people being off work for 3 or more days
* On average forklift trucks are involved in 24% of all
workplace transport accidents
* 60% of all accidents involving forklifts are suffered
by pedestrians.

Every employer shall ensure that all persons who use work
equipment have received adequate training for the purposes
of health and safety.
This includes training in the methods which may be adopted
when using the work equipment, any risks which such use may
entail and precautions to be taken.
